Eliana & Iscander "Isy" Borjon - Owners
Having been exposed to the world of wine at a very young age only made it natural for Isy to some day create his own wine. After taking over his family's Labor Contracting company at the age of 18, Isy developed great relationships with local grape growers and winery owners. These relationships, with the information they provided, added to his knowledge of winegrowing. Eliana wasn't always as enthused about wine as her husband. Having moved to the Shenandoah Valley from Arbuckle, California, she quickly grew accustomed to her husband's way of life. She learned the accounting aspect of the Labor Contracting company and upon the creation of Borjon Winery, Eliana, quickly learned what was needed to help ignite the new company's fire.

Joe Shebl - Director Of Winemaking
Joe, who is also Isy's best friend, has been making wine in the Shenandoah Valley for over 10 years now. Formally of Renwood Winery, he has had the opportunity to work with almost all of the best vineyards in Amador County. Joe was well on his way to medical school before a wine tasting trip to the Napa Valley changed his course forever. Starting his career as a cellar worker, he quickly earned the responsibility working in the winery laboratory then started putting blends together that began winning awards across the country. He is adamant about producing mouthwatering, succulent wines and his judicious use of oak comes across in all of our wines with balance, complexity and depth of flavor.

Gil Herrera - Director of Sales & Marketing
Having sold and marketed everything from music to houses, Gil has found a place to exploit every last one of his talents here at the winery. His sales experience, graphic design expertise, years of bartending and most of all his passion for the Borjón brand, make him the perfect fit for this position. Having spent countless years dealing face to face with his clientele, Gil has a knack for getting at the core of what our customers expect from our brand. Whether you catch him in the office or in the tasting room mingling with our guests, his warm personality and diplomatic approach are received well by both our consumers and business associates.

Ivan Borjon - Assistant Winemaker
Much like his father and older brother Isy, Ivan possesses the drive to surpass any and all expectations. His foresight fuels his desire to become an integral part of the family business. He's already becoming quite the winemaker as understudy to highly sought after winemaker and consultant Joe Shebl. At the age of only 20, he's absorbing the knowledge like a sponge and molding himself into a highly valued commodity in the wine cellar. With time on his side, he is poised to learn multiple aspects of the business and will only become more valuable.

Allie Zeiher – Wine Club Manager
While Allie’s official title is Wine Club Manager, her skill-set goes far beyond that. Allie first came to Borjón as a guest in a limousine party. Within minutes of what in retrospect could only be described as on “on-the-spot” interview, it was clear that talking the wine business talk was an effortless comfort zone for Allie. She was a part of the Borjón staff within a week. After a year in the business, Allie quickly acclimated herself to the Borjón way. Management and the Borjón clientele couldn’t help but take notice. With a wine club that was beginning to grow at an exponential rate, it only made sense at that point to give Allie the reigns.
